The episodes are getting better and better. Kept them coming.

Was that really the minstrels voice, or did he dub that in? And thanks for not spoiling where to find him. Its much more fun to go looking for these easter-eggs without directions.

So how about this as a suggestion. (Not sure if you fraps or not).

But it would be great if at the end of your show you'd have a "video stinger". Where we get one of the great random conversations that happen all over Tyria. Just a little funny 10-15 second convo.

Ive heard some really odd and funny ones.

One was a Charr saying "Cheese and meat. Cheese and meat! Cheezy-meat! Hungry cub is hungry"

And then another one I heard in Claypool, that actually made me go "wtf?!?", and then bust out laughing. It was two women talking and all I hear is - "Men are dumb, stupid even!"

Ive only heard it twice and it cracks me up every time.

I always try and loiter when I enter a new area just because there are so many hidden conversation gems. Wouldnt mind hearing some of the ones Ive missed.

I really like the removal of the piercings, it was very distracting from the video itself previously.

Now I find that instead of the piercings, I'm distracted instead by how stunning the broadcaster is. I just can't win.

Good show this week, keep it up!

Volenibblets writes: It says a lot about how little we've evolved in gender equality that the two women who post videos on this site get mostly bombarded with comments about their appearance and how their hair/piercings look today...or worse, they get patronised at length about how everything they say is amazing, even when they're discussing dubiously impressive gaming artwork and edible chocolate figurines. Call me crazy if you will, but is it possible that videos can be judged on the merit of their content, leaving hormones out of the mix? Mon Oct 08 2012 9:25AM Report

Reporting Volenibblets for being right :) As for gender equality, us guys are well aware that we suck and girls are awesome and above use in every way, thanks for the reminder.

@Voleneibblets.

Its natural to notice the appearance of person presenting news regardless of subject matter whether its gaming, weather etc.

Why do you think men and women put so much effort in looking good in front of camera? because the way you present yourself matters. Doesn't mean that is the only thign to focus on but is ee nothing wrong with complementing someone if they look good.

I don't know how appreciating beauty makes one superficial. As far as content is concerned i did find the new website to preview legendary weapons which i didn't know existed.

So for me the content she presents is more important but i won't deny that she looks gorgeous which is a bonus.

@It's superficial because it's one-sided. Why in media both sides have certain appearance guidelines, there is much, much, much more emphasis on it for females, and it's perpetuated by society as a whole. For example, skim the comments on this article, then go over to the last MMOFTW podcast by Bill and see how many of the comments are about his appearance.

halflife25 writes: Maybe because there are more males who use this website? i think that one was obvious. Males getting attracted to good looking females and commenting on their looks and appreciating them is just a natural thing. This is how we are wired. Tue Oct 09 2012 2:27AM Report
Volenibblets writes:

Ok, so, in light of this feedback, should any remotely attractive woman who posts videos on this site be aware that their content research is largely wasted as the majority of viewers are men who are chiefly watching their videos to oogle at them and comment mercilously or flatteringly about their appearance? This would of course be undoing what's generally percieved as a half century of progress towards equality mind you.

@Cyrael: not true girls frequently comment on Bill's hunky manliness, he just routinely edits it out so he'll be taken more seriously as a gaming journalist ;-P

halflife25 writes:

That is your assumption that majority of males watching these videos are only inteersted in her looks. I already mentioned that good looks is a bonus but that doesn't mean the content she is presentign through her video is useless.  Stop painting everyone with same brush.

But for some reason you are too focused only on 'people commenting on her looks'.

And no matter how much human evolve and progress, the basic natural instinct towards opposite sex isn't going to fade away. Unless in future all humans are gender less.

Now please continue to ride your high horse.
