From GW wiki for those that don't know.

"Bookah" is a large, loud, bellowing, and dumb imaginary creature that the Asura used to frighten their children. Since their surfacing, they use the term to refer to those they view as inferior beings, which to them is almost everyone who is not an Asura.

She's a regular on the weekly Tales of Tyria http://www.youtube.com/user/SoundStrategyNetwork

Is she setting off on her own or is in this in conjunction?

And is this what MMORPG is going to do? Throw girls in their 20s at the general audience in hopes of boosting hormones...*cough* ratings/viewership?

@Digna ty for your comments, i made videos before ToT and have always been on my own. ToT is something i do because i enjoy it.

this is a new show i am doing that is gw2 community focused and because i already stream for mmorpg i am doing it for them.

Apologies if you think this is some marketin gplow to make you like gw2 more.. but that is not my intentions at all.

@Kaeyi - No. Didn't think it was a ploy to lure us deeper into the obsession that is (will be) GW2.

My comment was based on you and Pokket broadcasting. Is this what MMORPG.com is going to use to lure males (substantial % of viewers here) in to boost reader/viewership (which equates to more people potentially seeing advertising which then = more potential ad revenue.

Always liked your comments on ToT and (in general) the whole show has some reasonable kernels of information.

So... What your saying is a women's job is to only boost viewers we can't actually enjoy gaming and want to share our passion like men? Sorry I cannot quite grasp this concept..

I would never say something so sexist and patently 50s...ever. Would never even imply a comment like that. I think you (and Pokket) are doing something you like to do, whether for fun or future possibilities. I offer sincere congrats that you are doing what you want to do and having fun with it..

My comments are specifically directed to MMORPG.com. Are they going to use female video creators as a primary means of drawing audiences? Sex sells, who's buying? It works. I understand that. Just didn't think to see it here and am curious if we'll see more of it.

Digma, we aren't selling sex in any way, shape, or form. So we're female. So what? Are we to be restricted or feel bad simply because of what sex we were born? That doesn't even make sense.

What you are saying IS technically sexist, whether you choose to believe so or not. MMORPG can't hire women who are young and passionate about games? Our generation has A LOT more females that game than the older generations, anyway.

They have hired males to work for them as well, Bill and Ripper X are just a couple of names that come to mind quickly.

We work our butts off, just like any male in the industry, not only to put out quality content, but to gain respect from men (like yourself) who are quick to label and throw accusations. If it doesn't work, we'll keep truckin', but I have to admit that it does get old ~.^
