The starting stuff (character creation, selection, initial experience) has really been done to death. I didn't see anything new here other than a different voice narrating.

RipperX, you sound like the biggest freakin' tool I have ever heard. You come off as a 15-year-old trying to sound cool yet mature. But instead you just sound like a retard. God, shut yer trap. The game looks great though. I will definitely be buying it, especially since it is F2P once you shell out the $60.

I disagree with people who think RipperX is annoying.  He approaches the games he plays with a lot of enthusiasm and goofiness and isn't afraid to just have fun, I love it.

Ok i have to admit i giggled when he said he wanted to make his charr looking the coolest charr evaa and it ended up being like my thai cat pretending to look really badass, but i sincerely doubt that was ever intentional.

Then the abuse of word like "awesome" and "cool" together with the cool-guy wannabe speech and pronunciation he uses and the really bad video editing/story telling abilities and audio awareness of the content makes me wish i had an "IGNORE" feature for the authors of this community i couldn't care less, like an AdBlock for authors, that would be AWESOME.

@cippa - it's been explained before that his job is to go through all of the mmos in their game list and do a review on them. The fact that people insult him for having a positive outlook on games that YOU may not find appealing is really annoying. He does pretty well at being entertaining, and just because he isn't like "I THINK THIS GAME SUCKS!" 24/7 doesn't mean it's not a decent review. He just tries to give every game it's fair shot.

Insulting? Would you like to iterate please?

The only insulting thing is the mediocrity of this content to the mind of the readers.

I might appreciate Ripper X positive attitude on a personal perspective, but this doesn't mean that i also have to see  the mediocrity of its productions as something good instead, and that won't save myself either from feeling pity for my past self who took the decisiono of wasting minutes of my life whatching it.

@afropuff420:

It is about my opinion only, i don't even care what you or anybody else think/feels about it, so spare me morale ok?

Kinda wierd video.  The commentary is done as if the game was being played live, but the video is cut up because I assume there were many parts that weren't interesting.

I'd suggest that either the player learn the game and then do the video so that things are more scripted or just release a 2-4 hour live video.  Trying to combine the two didn't make for good viewing.

I apologize. This was the first one of his videos I've tried to watch.

I could only take about ten seconds of the "radio persona" voice.

You have to be kidding me. Really?

Does he "speak" like  this in all of his videos?

Events are NOT "dynamic" if they constantly happen within the SAME set area. "Dynamic" implies change based on a different set of variables than the last.

The different between "Randomized" and "Dynamic" is that Dynamic has very set clear cut reasons for certain reactions happening based on the last event that happend. NO EVENT IN GW2 THAT WE'VE SEEN SO FAR IS DYNAMIC!

im alittle confused, you say that GW2 events are not Dynamic, but then you give a definition that exactly identifies what is happening in GW2.

Each event has multiple paths, each outcome is different based on whether you fail or succeed and lead to further events based on those results. That makes them Dynamic according to your definition.

Example: Centaurs are invading a keep. If you successfully defend against them, you can then go on a counter offensive and raid thier camps. But if you fail, they actually occupy the keep and now you must drive them out to reclaim it. In other words, it Dynamically changes what is happening based on the  results of the previous event. Try not to contradict yourself in a single post next time :P

I hate how everybody talks about the intro like it's magically awesome. It's a tutorial. It's not a dynamic event. It takes 5 minutes, and the NPC's will kill the boss for you even if you just stand there. But once you're free... well, THEN the game gets amazing.
