It seemed a bit off, honestly.  Like depending on the terrain it could be shot further away.  I hope it winds up being longer.  The range overall of the Engineer's weapons seemed shorter than the range of the Ranger's.  More like the Engineer was supposed to be middle-ranged compared to the length of the Ranger.
