If they want my opinion, here. I would enjoy the effect more if the meteors had a screaming fall sound (like falling missiles from planes) and a concussive effect upon impact Maybe the camera vibrates, earth debris and flaming embers spray up.

As for in game effect, have a knockback/ knockdown chance and /or flaming embers that could cause some residual damage over time.

Tactical consideration: Friendly Fire possible

If you know meteor shower you know thats how its supposed to be, it costs alot of nrg to activate, it causes knockdown when it hits, it also causes burning as you can see on the monsters and it also takes a long time to recast. Maybe that has been changed for GW2 or maybe they just hacked it for this video, either way, this is how it usually is.

Ordinary models? It's one of the few MMOs were the models don't look like some distended, freakish teenage wet dream. Check out some of the screenshots of that elementalist model. It's great.

Hm I wonder what purpose that revealing top serves. Maybe it gets really hot when throwing those meteor/fire balls.
