A game like no other I have ever played. I have not been excited about a game like this, ever.  There have been a couple of times it came close. My first example is Everquest; my second is World of Warcraft, which was also my first beta experience.

Each of these afore mentioned games caused a change to the MMO industry. Well it is happening again. Guild Wars 2 has not raised the bar in MMO, it has changed it. Gone are the days of camping a spawn, and getting angry when someone else shows up just as the mob you had been waiting for just popped.  This person then proceeds to kill it, look at you, laugh and run off. Now you share in the combat as it suddenly appears. Sometimes building to a point where you fight an angry mage or a REALLY big boss monster. (BTW.... dragons are HUGE!!!!!!)

Now there are dynamic events not quest that you have to go do. They are similar to a degree but different, and this difference makes them fun. Which is one of the main goals that ArenaNet is trying to do. Keep it fun and I feel that is exactly what they have done. As you level and explore the dynamic events get longer and become more intricate. Thus keeping you interested in going further into the game. They also keep it fun by making it where you no longer have to worry about kill stealing. The way the game is setup everyone wins a nice prize even if you are not in a group. Especially at the end of a dynamic event chain.

They also approach PvP differently. If all you want to do is PvP then that's all you have to do. You go to the PvP area and you are automatically level 80 with access to all your abilities . You can even practice with them in practice areas before going into combat. But be warned, once you go back to a PvE area you will go back to a lower level. Notice I did not say your level at first since you still get experience and leveling for the PvE continues even though you are doing sPvP or WvWvW.

There are also dungeons you can go into, and it is not the usual "we are going to go kill so and so today meet us at the halfway point in the dungeon" that is not going to be possible since you don't know which one of the five different paths the folks will be on.

Also you need to figure out what weapon you want to use since each weapon has it own attack sets  and placing a weapon or shield in the off hand changes these sets a bit as well. You can also swap weapons during combat. Something I have never been able to in any other MMO I have played. And that is a long list btw. This game has a ton of plus and few negatives IMO.
