It seems dumbed down to have so few skills at a time. I know you can switch weapons later on, but it just means every fight is the same. I wish some of these game creators could go take a look at the Loremaster in LOTRO to learn how to create variety in gameplay in MMOs. Sat Aug 30 2014 4:37AM

The most fun I've had was collecting sky crystals & making it all the way to the top of the sky ship, by jumping using special abilities. That was good old fashion fun gameplay & it was part of a holiday event, I kid you not! The main game has its own moments of madness, like being kicked around by little rabbits, but they seem to be few and far between. Much of the gameplay is kill or collect something. Overall I've found GW2 to be tedious grinding through zones (sounds familiar doesn't it...) completing maps, selling loot, crafing junk, rinse repeat. The two classes I tried were simple & ultimatley dull for me (got one to level 55 before i couln't take any more). The personal story for that class has been boring as well, but for the character I chose not to play much I think actaully had a rather complelling story early on. Community wise, it's got the feel of a tired MMO. 4.8/10 Mon Aug 18 2014 7:10PM
