i'm not sure if this is in the right section...

But i read players selling stuff in game for real money. Is it true that GW2 has a legit marketplace to actually sell stuff in game for real cash?

Eh, not exactly. You can basically use in-game currency to get gems, which are the currency used to buy things from the cashshop.

In a way it's like getting real money (because there is a real monetary value to it), but you can't take those gems and then sell them for US dollar or w/e. At least not legitimately through the game.

Thats not a legit market... but some people do
