I feel bad making this as my first post here, but I've been away from MMOs since WotLK, and I barely even played that. Guild Wars was the most fun I've had with an MMO in years and this game has been at the top of my list since it was announced. Now that Christmas is rolling around I'm finally getting around to wanting to buy it.
But my problem is I have a pretty darn outdated PC, and I'm worried about whether or not I'll be able to run it. I don't care if I'm playing on minimum settings, I enjoy MMOs for the gameplay not the graphics. My PC is as follows:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ ATi Radeon HD 3850 2GB RAM |

No that system is too old. if you can you should consider upgrading. I hope you are able to enjoy the game. =) |

Sorry, but that PC won't do it. I had a similar setup and was able to run the game at 20fps.
If you decide to upgrade your system, I highly recommend Intel processor. AMD + Ati Radion is more or less the worst combination you can get for GW2.
As a side note, don't believe anything you have read about GW2; The hype machine was wrong. |
