just really curious to see a video if anyone here as been multiboxing mesmerers? i mean multiboxking with this game should be easy without having to pay for monthly subscriptions.

ever since i've started playing the mesmerer i've had this itch to multibox like 4/5 identical mesmerers.....anyone out there been doing it? got a video?

I'm sure it's possible, somehow... but with the type of combat GW2 has, where movement, dodging, positioning etc. play such a role it would be pretty stupid. Imagine shooting at one and all five burn one of their dodges...

 

Besides, I mesmer. You get into a flow and it looks like you're multiboxing as it is. I get a kick out of being jumped by three or four people in WvW and getting away cleanly while they chase clones... I don't know why, but that amuses me to no end.

All the boxers use Rangers with bears because the bears tank surprisingly well and can heal themselves too. Mesmers are amazingly tanky in the right hands, but in a boxing scenario they would just melt.

Not multiboxing but I do have plans for a identical mesmer only 5 person sPvP team after the update on the 22nd. 5 Mesmers all looking exactly alike specifically for PvP... to me it just seems to awsome not to do. If it works well I'm thinking about getting a PvP focused guild back up and running for WvW based on the same principle. Confuse the hell out of people oO!

I angered the clerk in a clothing shop today. She asked me what size I was and I said actual, because I am not to scale. I like vending machines 'cause snacks are better when they fall. The different names may be an issue. You could run very, very similar names I suppose.

That would be hilarious. It reminds of the time I was screwing around with some friends in WoW 5v5 Arenas and we went up against an all-Mage team. They all started out in Invisibility and then popped their Mirror Images. There were 15 Mage clones standing around shooting frostbolts at us! By the time we figured out who was a clone and who was real we were dead (they were all Arcane so they were spamming Arcane Blast for crazy damage). I imagine you could do the same thing with Mesmers and have some hilarious times.

i think multiboxing is considered an unfair advantage and may be a banable offense expecially considering the large amount of macro scripting it would entail which Anet frowns on. I've noticed that the bots i've been reporting lately that are multiboxing btw, are disappearing entirely from the zones they were once in. :)

LOL I think a 5 mesmer pvp team would be just as annoying as a 5 thief pvp team hehe

yea.. played couple teams with 3 mesmers and it was crazy.. a 5 person coordinated mesmer team would be something I would love to see

I hope you realize that multiboxing is against the rules of the game and the developers have commented it on already  as something that they don't approve of.

I guess you could use a bluetooth keyboard connected to several computers, boxing in GW2 is really a nightmare compared to most other MMOs though, only Tera would be worse. The game is just too much based on movement and positioning.
