About Lost Prophecy

Established in 2001, Lost Prophecy is a guild with over a decade of on-line gaming experience. We've had a presence in countless titles as they have become topical, and have our sights set on Guild Wars 2 as our core game.

We have a history of becoming a respected, and decidedly strong/successful, guild in all communities we are a part of; we plan on becoming the same in GW2.

While Lost Prophecy truly cares about its progression and team dynamic, we're all a bunch of old folks.  We know real life happens, and expect players to have life get in the way.  That's just the way it is.  Don't expect that to be held against you as a member of Lost Prophecy.

Guild Premise

Lost Prophecy members take part in multitudes of team-building experiences, including in-game events (PvE and PvP), Mumble chat at all times of the day, as well as team meetings and playing other non-core games such as Diablo III or SWTOR.

We pride ourselves on our uncanny ability to work as a team, coordinate, and down our foes, and strongly think that our ability to be so successful at what we do is because of the interaction we encourage and the cultural values we hold. We get to know the strengths and weaknesses of all our members, take constructive criticism, and thus better ourselves and the team.

With experience in both extensive PvE and PvP content in many titles, Lost Prophecy is a great place to game at a comfortable (yet determined) pace and have a rewarding experience.

Guild Structure and Expectations

As most guilds are, Lost Prophecy is led by a GM, Co-GM, and a small team of officers. Officer count is managed based on the roster we’re holding at the time. 

Members will all interact with each other (including officers, of course), learn each other’s play styles and develop mutually beneficial strategies. We have lots of members who are big map-memorizers, and others who are into modelling and mathematical theory crafting. All members are welcome to reap the benefits of another member’s research.

We expect members to be mature; the majority of our player-base is above age 25, though admittedly things occasionally may get a little spicy (or inebriated is maybe the better term… )

What are we looking for?

All-in-all, Lost Prophecy is looking for dedicated players that are looking for performance rather than hours clocked. We all play between 10-20 hours per week and take what we’re doing seriously and have a bowl of fun with it.

Still Looking!  We're up to about 25 active players right now!

what the time frame for most of your guild events?

Time frame? As in how long are they?

Typically we go about 3 or 4 hours, it really depends on schedules.  We all have jobs and if we're doing a weekday event, it will not go long into the night, we're usually done by 10:00 EST at the latest unless EVERYONE agrees (and I mean everyone) to move forward another 30 or 60 minutes.

 

They usually start around 7:00 EST, especially on weekdays, if there are any.  Weekends, we'll probably do some sort of survey at launch when we're fully rostered (or mostly) and see what works best for everyone!  Again though, usually we're evening/prime time buggers :)

Thanks to this site we've recruited some absolutely incredible people!  Our roster is ever growing, and we are still looking for like minded individuals to apply!
