Are we going to need an entire new client installation for release, or just an update from the last few betas?

As stated many times before, no, you dont need to download any other client. The beta client gets updated to the release client.

Remember to update your client though. So far theres a 300-500~mb update so far. Probably comes more up to release.

Well, its kind of logical to login before August 25th unless you want to download 10 GB that day, when they stated the beta client will be updated to the full version ;)

Have they mentioned when exactly they would be putting in GPU optimizations? Or did I miss that? The game really hasn't run that much better for me since BWE1 and I've been looking for info on that ever since.
