Taugrim is good at something? when did that happen? Last I heard he ragequit swtor pvp "You have some serious mental issues you may need to seek some help for. There are others who post things, but do not post them in the way you do. Out of every person who posts crazy shit in this forum, you have some of the craziest and scariest" -FarReach |

0/10 It's like he's not even trying. "Loading screens" are not "instances". |

Don't agree, we rolled over most competition going into normal PvP with a mostly guild team, but then we went into tournaments (with no plan of note, just to test it out) and got rolled over ourselves as people focused, peeled and debuffed / dispelled correctly. Lesson learned: strategy is important. |

Originally posted by TGSOL You know what's funny, I think that sometimes having tons of skills can make a game require even LESS skill to play. Take Rift for example...a lot of builds have a CRAP TON of skills in that game...like four bars completely full. But there's really no way that Trion is going to be able to balance all those skills so that they are all used interestingly. Instead, any build devolves into an optimal "rotation" usually even for PvP. And when something devolves into an optimal rotation, the next logical step is obviously a macro. So now your 15 skill or whatever rotation has been packaged into one nice, neat little button that does everything for you. Morale of the story is that it doesn't matter how many skills you have when you can boil your strategy for any situation into one button. Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob? |

i aint sure about world pvp,but if they have instanced pvp like they used to in gw1 .trust me dont let the simplicity looking skill fool you.you ll wish it was less complicated.we all wished that in gw1.theoricrafter probably have all their first team build done.so you wont have long to wait to see what i talk about!it is good to see this interest tho .but you forgot weapon change this add a geometry that might not seem apparent but it will once you see the top team in action!player are always dam they could pull this off this way?arg!and now the skill level will be where it was when player in gw1 left(ya pretty high)average player wont be able to compete vs pro gw player will probably take months to catch up by then it will be too late top team will be ready to take on anyone but the top team! i hope gw2 is streamed via IIS http://www.iis.net/download/ServeMedia aside from this?ho it should be a blast .the world thing?not sure what to make of it,but so far it looks boring.maybe i am wrong
side note:i bet it must be boring for closed beta player in SMITE ALSO lol.they only have 4 skill.yet i saw a lot of player and almost say they love it .i wonder why they love a 4 skill game.probably a group thing that cant be experienced solo |

Topic name says "PvP is not skilled"... Which lead me to find OP's perspective of view rather odd. Because majority of in-game-local-chat non-mature players (ill skip the "kids" term this time) complained about how PvP requires skill and thats why it suck. They said that PvP need item progression so that "noobs" have more fair chance to be good. They even admit that PvP require actuall skill, yet they regarded it as a bad thing. Oh well... no game will ever satisfy everyone. No MMORPG may exist with "balanced" PvP (notice the quote marks here) Be well everybody. I love you all. Back to the game now :D Main MMO at the moment: Guild Wars 2 |

Where i can agree is that the easiest class are the most overpowered, in the current state : Elementalist > Guardian > Warrior > The rest I also agree that coordination and team-play is not that much promoted by the system of .5 to 1 second CC max. That said, i think the only actual problem is that a domination mode is just not a good idea AT ALL, a game without dedicated heals and given the fact that you can't last more than 20 seconds on a fight without dying / escaping makes it very good for a deathmatch system. I hate this new fashion that leads pvp to be objective based. |

Originally posted by bwinthehouse Nope, I dont agree, there for NOT all agree. This are your OPINIONS, and not facts. Saying "I think we can all agree" is kinda douchy. I know you would like to believe your opinion is the most popular one, but I am sure you will find out it is not. |

Fear (interrupts and makes enemy run away) Daze (makes skills unusable and interrupts) Knockdown (includes interrupt) Launch (includes interrupt) Stun (total lockdown) Push (includes interrupt) Pull (includes interrupt)
The guy is obviously terrible at not just playing the game, but understanding anything about it. He claims so many stupid things about PvP in general, it's a wonder he posted anything for any game about PvP at all. SWTOR is the greatest mmo ever! |

I hope we are not discussing WvWvW cause that is never going to make it anywhere near esport. I haven't had much experience with GW2's structured PvP but I think it will be very hard for an MMO to become a game worthy of MLG. I don't think an MMO has ever even come close to be competitive enough to make it at MLG tournaments. |

It actually paints a pretty unflattering portrait of the people who constantly use the whole 'Not actually the second coming/messiah' type comments. ... but whatever. I'm sure they don't care that I think it's a cheap overused tactic. :) |
