A few questions. When is the next beta weekend for GW2, has this been announced yet? I have not pre-purchased the game yet however I am planning to. Can I pre-purchase the game right before the next beta-weekend (like the day before) and automatically gain access or do I have to buy the game in advance first?

I don't know that buying it the day before is a great idea, since there might be a delay that causes you to not get in.  As for a date, no one knows yet.  They just said next month (which is now this month).

Next BWE has not been announced yet.

Last BWE they cut off sales for a few days prior just to make sure they had room for everyone.  I expect that as long as you buy by the Tuesday of the week BWE will happen you should have no problem getting in.

No date yet, although last weekend of May or first of June seem like a good guess. As far as pre-purchasing - there should be no trouble at all. You can download the client even now if you wish. The only issue that you may run into is if Arenanet decide to stop the pre-purchasing from their site for a while due to overload on the servers. (They did this last BWE for the NA version of the game). So I'd suggest getting it at least 2-3 days in advance, just to be sure. :)

Thanks for the replys guys. I'll probably just order it tonight, no point in waiting since it's already confirmed there wont be a pre-purchase option on Steam.

During Mother's Day Weekend? Doubtful.  Might be next weekend...maybe, or teh last wekend of the month.  They tease.  And then, after that, there maybe just one more weekend prior to the game's launch.  Hoping, since it's so complete now.

Day 26 of this month and im sure you will be able to pre-purchase and have acces to te BW even that same day.

I think the next beta weekend will be toward the end of this month. Followed by one more test mid June, then hopefully release end of June.
