From the HORRIBLE ANIMATIONS/COMBAT MECHANICS, to the glitch lagfest, server slideshow, the inability to get into game, the problem with quing to get into a ‘regular’ area, but never getting the actual q……….People leaving battlegrounds left and right in the middle of the game, having no debuff.

 

 

Also, they tout WE DONT HAVE QUESTS IN DIS HERE GAME, but believe me, smacking trees so apples fall out and you having to pick up ten of them so an npc can bake you a pie?!?!?!?!? Same sht, different method……/shrug

 

 

And make no mistake fans, we are PAYING TO TEST this game. Regardless of how much you OMGILOVEDISGAME, we are testing it. I mean, seriously Anet, what the fk??!?!? Having to pay to enter beta is not kosher. It feels like Anet is running out of dev funds, and need to sponge off the future players to keep it going.

 

Yes, there are a few things I like about the game, the ability to dodge, and the environment is beautiful…

Overall, I think we wont see this game for months, dare I say, end of summer? Either way, this game is in no way ready for release.

I just had more fun playing WvW in a huge three way battle then I have had in an MMO for a long, long time.

 

Clearly there are some issues, but this is the game I have been looking for for a long, long time.

 

The game does lag during the big fights, but what game - in beta - hasn't?  It's also not near as bad as SWTOR, also there are WAY more people in WvW than ever was in any Ilum fight.

I want to be Uncle Owen again.

No, we're paying to get an early "sneak peak" while simultanously helping to test the game in the process. This payment also covers the full-release version of the game as well (nobody is paying extra just to get into the beta).

They don't call it a "beta test" for nothing.

You don't have to pay to get in. You're simply not guarenteed a spot if you don't.

Chances are they will open the doors wide open for testers in pre release timeline as its a huge marketing spin.

So unless you really really need 100% chance to get in, don't stress.

If you are paying to TEST THE GAME you arent very smart...

 

Im paying to play GW2 when it is released. And while it is not released i also play the Beta events, expecting problems ofc.. Exactly how arena net announced it. "Buy the game now and you can join beta events before it launchs or just buy it when it is released" Is that pay to test the game? .

 

Actually, so far, the big issue was all arround login witch is perfectly normal.

And again you shouldnt pay to test the game loool

 I have yet to notice any horrible animations and can you explain what you mean by combat mechanics? The only time it ever lagged for me was when defending a keep from 50 enemy players and that was probably my computer and two times where nobody moved for 30 seconds and then it went better.

 You don't have to pay to enter the beta. well except for this one but I am pretty sure the upcoming ones will have people from betakey giveaways from sites like mmorpg.com.  I and lots of people  knew we would like the game. You however didn't know you were going to like it and wasted money on it. You should have waited.

Because it's ready when it's ready and that has been their answer when asked about a release date. No need for such hostility, the game isn't ready therefore no release date. Not sure it needs any more explination.

What do you mean pay to test? You're getting the chance (if you choose) to get into beta if you pre-order. You're not paying to beta test. It's simply one of the perks of pre-ordering. Lots of games use this model.

well i remember getting apple in other mmo and its was kind of very boring because nothing happend its was only clicking apple and returning to the guys 10km away because he needed the apple for his grandmother pie. 

instend of this u got tree to hit and spider come out of it. for me its better then what i said above ^

i did not saw anything wrong with animation and combat mechanic. unles before play ing Gw2 u were playing old old old game,

for my part the game seem perfect i had nothing to say .execpted for the server lag.
