The cash shop needs improvement. They need to get rid of the annoying horns that gold sellers will abuse and the keys for chests which give better items than the ones people without keys dont have. There are a number of other pay 2 win items as well which give advantage in pvp which are a problem.
TL;DR= get rid of the Pay 2 win cash shop. |

For me they have to improve: - oviously particle effects! - difficulty of dynamic events when there are a lot of players. Right now it's wtf I facerolled my keyboard and everything died. - remove the 3/10 indicators in dynamic events. Totalbisquit was talking about that in one if his videos. - IMPROVE PERFORMANCE! - observer mode would be awesome but I can wait a few months after release for implementation. |

I've researched the CS, and found no P2W aspects, especially concerning the WvW. Believe me, the day they sell a weapoon or piece of armor that is stronger than anything I can make or find in game, then I'll be the first to leave. Untill then, I'll be enjoying the WvW, and I'm so glad you wont be there. I wont have time to hold your hand in the WvW, while you complain about getting your arse handed to you, and blaming it all on the CS. I can hear it now, "OMG, I so would have pwned him if it wasnt for that booster he bought!" ....lol |

Yeah i know its 250 years later and peace has settled amongst the human guilds bla bla bla but.. I would like to see some form of "same" server guild vs guild implemented afterall it is GUILD WARS 2.. I will go one step further and say anet needs to add something like this if it isnt already in the plans lest the game cannot live up to its name as "guild wars" even though the WvWvW is going to be awesome it is not the same thing as battling for guild supremacy on the same server as this is something GW1 did better than any other game imho... This game seems to have literally everything a player could want or ask for except for its very trademarked namesake... GUILD WARS! Playing GW2.. |

However, since I'm NOT in the beta, it seems rather useless (to me) to go over and over "issues" which we're not even sure EXIST any more. I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense to you. To me it's just simple. President of The Marvelously Meowhead Fan Club |

You need to do a little more research. The Mystic Chests do not contain gear. They contain boons, tools, and boon 'tonics' that give a fairly long duration boon and possibly a minipet. They also do not require you to buy Mystic Keys from the store. You can use a 'Butler Golem' to open them. All I know about them is that it's an asura creation you can summon to open chests. I assume there will be a cost to do so. As to the horns, they will undoubtedly have limited use. I think they are really designed for WvW, where it will be useful to 'shout' to the entire server that x server is attacking and backup is needed, etc. Last, you call this Pay 2 Win. I feel for your inability to percieve reality.
Edit: Please stop calling it RvR folks. This isn't DAoC. |

@Adalwulff completely agree. I've played true Pay 2 Win games and true Cash shop dependant games and this is far far from that. As soon as the cash shop offers something I can not purchase with in game gold I will no longer play GW2.
This game does not offer anything that you can not purchase with gold earned in game. It does not require you to use the cash shop to compete with anyone who would want to. As soon as it does I along with anyone with a brain wont play the game. I guess these absurd arguments are being made by people who haven't played true pay 2 win games.
@ RvR comments This is GW2 its Wolrd vs World vs World =WvW...!! it is not Realm vs Realm / RvRvR so it does not apply to this game. Seriously the term isn't that hard to learn. |

One thing I'm a little concerned about is that the placement of the Heart Tasks along the periphery seems to have led some new players astray in the believe that those tasks are all there is for PVE content. Better placement to make it easier for players following the Hearts to stumble accross more DEs would be better. If it's too late to change the zones that way, they need to do a better job communicating to new players that most of the content is out in the world to be found via exploration, rather than limnited to the Heart Tasks. (Even people from the professional gaming press made this mistake). Want to know more about GW2 and why there is so much buzz? Start here: Guild Wars 2 Mass Info for the Uninitiated |
