Partly inspired by legends of Indian mythology, Legend of Katha is a browser-based MMORPG set in a fantasy world of Trikoot. The storyline concerns the destroyed tree of Katha and the aftermath that split the land. Four scrolls are needed to revive it and restore Tikroot.

The game features quests and exploration, but at its heart, players compete against each other to earn gold, which can be used to upgrade skills and aesthetic items. PvP modes range from duels to full clan combat. There are four classes to choose from and advancement is more skill-based. As the player delves into the game titles and skills based upon playstyle will be unlocked. Another standout feature is the ability to get quests through SMS text messaging and level on the go.

Legend of Katha is free to play, and gold, while earned in game, is also available for sale in the cash shop.
