- Kamael are rather pretty, but the idea of running around with one wing for 80 levels seems rather silly. Why not two? and then when you get final form your wings turn black or something... And EQ2 has some very pretty zones, and very nice graphics. Just because it doesnt have WoW Style for armour and weaponry doesnt mean diddly.

- To add my two cents to the Eq2 vs L2 debate, I think they are two of the best looking mmo's out there. I played both at beta and launch, and eq2 recently again. Eq2 has some older zones that are definately long in tooth.

- I am sorry to say but if you think that eq2 graphix are gimmped it's probably due time you upgrade your computer to lets say a dual video card ddr3 512mb and a very expensive processor unit. Everquest2 has room to brag with their graphix. The reason this game is so beautifully crafted is because of the limiting in pratical output making is more eye candyish to the simple minded. So don't say anything about eq2 until you have played it on extreme performance.

- /agree with Asamof, if you wanted to compare looks to other mmo's L2 is by far one of the best, some examples in comparison would be wow, eq2, fury, and a few others I've played. L2's biggest down fall is the grind, penalty for dieing whether from mobs or if you red, and the economy is all jacked up, thanks to the thousands of greedy players and all the farmers.

- I totally agree with Asamof. This game is far from old fashioned. I love how those new skills look but I'm not gonna reroll on retail again..

- don't know what the hell you're talking about sysadmin, the animations and finely crafted models still hold up better today than other horrible looking games like EQ2. If anything the gameplay needs a serious upgrade

- I might consider playing this if it goes F2P....but its just fallen too far behind the rest of the MMO community to be considered a "Current" game.

- This game is so old... everything now seems so old fashioned and ridicule, the game engine, the characters, the animation, npcs... Is there anyone still playing L2?
