    • If you judge this game on a few days play then you really haven't played it. It is more than the grind that is just the journey and all games have it just in different flavours. There are farmers but to be honest there are that many places to hunt its not a problem especially at low level. It has gone many changes over the last couple of years since I quit my 60+ toon and after several years of wow pulp copies I have returned and realised that it really is well put together. No auction house is great as there is a real trading game where you have to work to learn the market and what sells. Great pvp although you need to spend a few months to get high enough to count in battles. The community is there but it is almost totally clan based so find a good clan and this game has a fantastic community who work together to achieve and conquer the endgame. It has raids, dungeons, dragons, sieges, tournaments, and much more. Too many people judge L2 on first impressions which is a shame because if you are prepared to work instead of be bottle fed then this game delivers fun, comradeship, tears, death and yeah ok a few farmers. As a bonus it is now easier to level toons in L2 especially pre 40. There are similar freebies out there but none of them have the full L2 mix imo...reviewing a game after two days...how?

    • When i fired up this game for the first time, i thought to myself, wow look at that noob with the name nfkhwhkshh. Then next to him i saw his friend uymmhjyyghh and next to him what must have been his brother EEunahdkjhhh. Yup there were close to 20 hlkjsoiuh random generated named characters running around the lowbie starting area automated and doing the newbie quests over and over and over... and over. Game fails in this department bigtime. As for the rest... well very hard to say, wasnt that exciting but only played for a few days because ulhkhyylk kept killing my mobs. Absolutely rediculous.

    • How can you comment a game after playing 2 days? Omg. this is so lame. Lineage 2 is not about grind. It's about BEST PVP system ever made. To get to that, you need to play at least half a year. get to at least 78-79. Get in the GOOD/BEST server clan. Then you will understand true Lineage2 nature. It's PVP/Sieges/Raid Bosses/Epic fights. Not in level 5 grinding. Quests are well done, but If you don't like PLAIN reading them, or dialogs aren't cool as WoW, it doens't mean it's bad. Guys. You are pathetic. This is not WoW, where you can get 70 in 5 days. Here, if you reach something, it valuable, and not shit like WoWs. Go to your kindergarden. This game is BEST PVP game ever made. Grahics are a bit outdated, sound is always off. Because you must use ventrilo to coordinate with team members. If you want to play a cool looking game - go mb GuildWars, or some other blonde. if you want best PvP, with something to loose - go play L2 and stop whine. L2 is HARD. Very hard. And only true MMO players can beat it. Others children tend to whine and go back to sandboxes.

    • Alright, I played this game for a few days. I quit already and decided to give my review. For starters I have played many MMORPGs, both free to play and pay to play games. I look at all aspects of the game before I cast my judgment. Lets run down the rating list there Graphics: I’ve seen this same game at least 30 times from various companies. How many times can you clone the same game? I swear I’ve seen some of the monsters in this game in others, the exact same ones I mean. There was one thing I noticed that kind of made me laugh, of all the crummy detail in this game they made sure the female dark elves breast bounced and jiggled. Lol Cracked me up. The world was very old school. Rather blocky and flat. Sound: The sound is terrible, I kept hearing these strange sound effects everywhere I went, like someone was fighting; but, the only time I saw other players was near the swamp, they were real players though, they were packs of gold farmers. The annoying sound effects were so bad I had to mute the game. There really isn’t a lot of music while you are out grinding or questing. It’s so quite besides the random sfx. Role playing: You kind of need a sandbox for that. This is not a sandbox there fore it is impossible. Since there is limited customization when building you character at the start, you sort of feel like part of a clone army. Value: I’ve played free to play clones of this game that were better organized. This game isn’t worth a penny. Fun: Absolutely not! From the very start to the point where I couldn’t stand to look at it anymore, I was in utter disarray. The quests are sloppy and vague, they involve too much running. Everything you need to get too takes at least 15 minutes to an hour to run to, by then your buffs are almost gone. There is no main story line, so you feel like you are just there in the game to grind. No objective other than leveling and getting set items. It’s a never ending treadmill. The UI is cluttered and broken. Community: I have to admit, this was the only thing that I can’t bash. I met some very helpful people right from the start who answered a lot of my questions and gave me lots of pointers. That’s somewhat rare these days in most games. Performance/Lag: The game lagged a lot for me. More than Age of Conan and that game is a beast when it comes to resources. I don’t understand where all this lag is coming from, the graphics aren’t that fantastic and there are no people around. The game crashed routinely on me. That really drove me nuts! It seemed like every 30 minutes the game would take a dump on me. I haven’t had a game crash this much on me ever! SWG, crashed once in a while; but, it wasn’t even close to this. Customer Service: Do they even have customer service? I didn’t look; but, my guess is that they aren’t very responsive to their players seeing the terrible condition the game is in.
