Ringside writes: I am a new player and i have to say its a Hardcore MMO kind of Old school but the game is still one of the best. I couldnt find a MMO to hold my attention for an extended period of time i gave Lineage 2 a second chance after years ( i was there at launch ) and when i came back i had very low expectation. I have to say i had a blast. You have to put a little effort to learn the game and get used to it but it was worth it. Other Games like Rift WoW and otherlike WarHammer they are all the same. Lineage is more for Adults. It has its Flaws but every MMO has some. The game is for me one of the best in 2011. Sat Jun 25 2011 10:30AM

There used to be a lot of complaints about the grind, economy, or botting which has improved a lot over the past year or two. This game has returned to be one of the best MMOs out there, far different then easier MMOs in atmosphere, quality, and depth. It takes some adjustment for people used to the more casual-friendly MMOs, but you'll be rewarded well if you stick with it and learn the mechanics. Scambug writes: I just came back to this game after a 2 year break. What on earth was I thinking playing WoW... This game has so much more depth, character and immersion they don't even compare. The leveling grind is alot easier than it used to be and NCsoft has finally (after 6 years) taken a pro active stance against botting. The servers have just been merged and the result is a nicely populated and fun game. ps: if you can't stand mob grinding, this isn't a game for you. Graphics 8: Some textures look a little old but the models are fantastic. Animations are generally very good too. Sound 7: Nice sounds. The casters say stuff when they cast, anime style. Can get annoying after you hear the same line for the millionth time. Role Playing 1: There isn't any. Value 10: Low cost for alot of content (mostly end game). Fun 8: I'm only at mid levels atm so can't say much about the end game fun. I hear it's great. For now I'm mostly solo grinding (by choice). There is group content for all levels. Community 7: Heaven compared to WoW but then again, which game isn't?.. Performance/lag 9: I'm 2 boxing on a low end (yet modern) PC. Great performance as you'd expect from a 6 year old game. Haven't had a single lag spike since I started. Server (Naia EU) is very stable. I hear it gets laggy during end game sieges. CS 7: Who cares? I can't remember the last time I had to contact CS, in any game... Some people say the CS here is bad, I don't know. Sun Nov 07 2010 1:13AM
