NCsoft has announced their Halloween event plans for Lineage II. This year's event has been dubbed Trick or Transmutation and begins this Friday, October 26th.

A brand new Lineage II event, Trick or Transmutation, will begin on Friday, October 26th! Players must find keys to unlock mysterious Alchemist's Chests which contain materials needed to craft one of six different Philosopher's Stones. Philosopher's Stones are used to summon rare and valuable rewards, including scrolls, potions, A-Grade weapons, and even some very special head accessories the likes the which have never been seen in the lands of Aden or Elmore. Sir Edward the Alchemist has at long last completed his research on Philosopher's Stone creation. He keeps the materials needed to create Philosopher's Stones in Alchemist's Chests; he'd love to show you how it's done, but the Alchemist's Chest Keys were lost during recent monster attacks. If you can find one of the Alchemist's Chest Keys, you can keep whatever you find inside the Alchemist's Chest you open. Wondrous treasures are to be had by he (or she) who creates a Philosopher's Stone!
