NCSoft and Lineage 2 devs have announced the start of the Wintermelon Woes event that will run from December 14th through December 28th. Players are charged with helping Puss the Cat smash all the mistakenly ordered wintermelons. Luckily, Puss the Cat has put presents for adventurers inside most of the wintermelons to make it worth their while for assisting him.

Puss the Cat has made a terrible mistake! When ordering Christmas items for Santa Claus, Puss accidentally ordered a lifetime supply of Wintermelons instead of sleigh bells. Without the bells, Santa's sleigh cannot jingle all the way through his Adenwide gift route and Santa is skipping Christmas this year. He and all the familiar winter holiday event NPCs took a well-needed vacation to exoitc locales with warm climtates, and left Puss the Cat behind to deal with the Wintermelon issues.
