An MMORPG.com Correspondent provides today's overview of the Elven Temple Knight in Lineage II. Find out of if this class is worth a try and how to play it at pique efficiency.
The Temple Knight has some really impressive skills such as cubics. Cubics are summons that flow above your head and provide you with bonuses. The Temple Knight has two of them: the life cubic and the storm cubic. The first one serves as a small healer, and is very useful when playing solo. However, when playing in a big group (taking some epic bosses, large-scale PvP like sieges etc.) it is not a factor at all. It’s also quite costly.
The other cubic is called the storm cubic. It's actually a small damage dealer. Like the previously mentioned life cubic, its main use is when you are soloing. In a large-scale PvP, raiding it's quite useless because every damage dealer would deal more damage than this thing above your head. Temple Knight also has a skill, which makes fighting undead easier (Holy aura).

Temple Knights are my favorite tanks.
Very nice article, I love these Lineage 2 articles, keep them posting!
Wow, I'm actually a little freaked out now lol. I've been trying to decide between playing a TK and PP for days now (since I decided to start over new, on a different server), and I just finally decided on the TK a little earlier tonight. Then, I check mmorpg, and I just happen to notice your article about TK's on the front page! I mean, what are the odds lol. Out of all the classes in this game, you just happened to cover the one that I've been debating for days :P.
Awesome article too btw! This definitely makes me feel even better about my decision to go all the way with the TK. I always imagined that, if played properly, the TK could be a force to be reckoned with and now I see that there's some actual truth behind it. Thanks for the information!
Yea, the TK starts out slow but begins to shine at high levels. Its considered to be the best tank at end game. Also a PP is the worst possible class to role as a main. Nobody wants to party with a PP anymore and with each update the other buffers get stronger and stronger while the PP gets nonthing.
Yeah, I know all too well about the state of the Prophet, but I've played it before at the higher levels and I always really enjoyed it, despite it's shortcomings. It was a class where you really had to be on your toes to win a fight. Sadly though, just like you said, the devs have pretty much forgotten about the class so until something major is done, it does seem like a pretty worthless character to play as your main - it took me awhile to accept that lol >_>.
Let's just hope that one day the prophet class gets the love it so desperatly needs and deserves.
Thank you everyone for the positive feedback, I'll try to keep those articles coming.
Now for alacres, I can assure you, that you've made a really wise choice. As far as PP is concerned, IMHO they will get some love. A year ago Shillien Elder was a really bad class, look at them now. Gracia final started their revival. Most importantly, with the arrival of Gracia + (next throne) SE will become a real healer again. I am sure that at some time PP will be awakened too. We just have to be patient.
Was this article writen 2 yrs ago o.O?
