The TW beta will be over roughly a month or so, and already a good portion of the english populace has switched to the new Japanese beta.  It is not as developed as the TW, so I've heard, but it's still L2 for those of us who want but can't get into the NA beta.

It's the same as the TW client...if you have Cable/DSL, about 3hrs.  Remember to use a download client, though.

Alright! Another beta were I can start all over again to have yet another language barrier between player interaction.

Thanks but no thanks, I'll ride the TW beta till the end or till the NA beta lets us in, which ever comes first.

whats a good download client to use?

BTW if youre having trouble navigating thru the jp site http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjtrans.html is a good translating utility that can load a webpage with the translator at the side for easy copy & pasting translations...

HA HA HA you people are going to have a FUn time updating, took me about 2 hours ot update, but it took me about an hour to actually conncet to the server TO update, also the japanese version has a built in translator, so yeah, its pretty good, you cna also use the english patch as well, its different though, i have tried both, i will just stick with the built in english for now... but i will start playing tommorow.

Also when you have vberything downloaded, you will have an icon (lineage 2) on your desktop, BE SURE you right click on it, and go to properties, chnage the:

"C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Lineage II\NCSoft\Lineage II\system\" to just "C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Lineage II\NCSoft\Lineage II" because i have gotten an e-mail from the Lineage team that it will speed up the updater, so BE SURE you do this or it will take you DAYS to update it.. have fun, and i will br seeing all of you in SERVER 3, look for Hioku!

When i try to join it says 'rejected from login server, the login server may be down.. its 10 10 right now, central... sooo, is there a problem or just not on time

They say there was a 2-hour delay of some sort.  But the servers are still probably under maintenance.  Try again later, when they've got it stabilized.
