I signed up for beta for lineage2....when will I recieve if I got into the beta and when will we start playing?? Has anyone got accepted yet? Thanks...

Open Beta isn't for awhile, They haven't even begun Closed Beta yet... well atleast to our knowledge they haven't. You signed up for closed... just gotta wait till they send out invites...

Open Beta will happen about 3 weeks prior to the game going Live. When that will be? who knows. The dates on EB and Gamestop are false... just ask NCSoft.

I'm confused to say the least.  1st off there beta application page was finicky as to what it would except (having all boxes checked would cause error).  2nd they didn't even send an email saying thank you for signing up for beta......blah blah a bunch of unwanted info about the game......we should start sending appications around X time and if you don't get one around that X time then you may get one around xOX time.  Besides that I noticed yesterday at work (Best Buy) that they are now selling the pre-order boxes for the damn game.

They need to step up to the plate, let us in beta, so we can tell them if we have a piece of crap on our hands or something worth pre-ordering

Very few Large Betas ever send out confirmation emails, its just too many emails to send... Can you imagine how many people applied? The same was with Blizzard, They don't give any information either...

To give a date or any vital information would put them in a time frame which they dont want... They dont want to lose the trust of people by having to go back on thier word... by keeping people in the grey area you always keep the anticipation up plus if something goes wrong, you don't have to make the public aware. :)

Pre-Orders are just that, they honestly say nothing... I mean when I worked in EB we were taking reserves on Final Fantasy X a year before its release... Pre orders for MMOs sometimes need to go out, I remember with the Velious Expansion for EQ my store ran out of copies... we had 80 come in and they all sold out before noon...

Im playing the TW beta and Im enjoying it, Abit laggy since the servers are all the way in TW but The gameplay I really enjoy. I pre-ordered mine already. :)

TW is the Taiwan open Beta.

Stating that open beta begins about three weeks before the game is released may not be accurate. I've been playing the TW open beta for over a month now, I played Shadowbane open beta for over six weeks and I signed up late for that one, Ragnarok open beta was months and months.

The release dates NCsoft gave out were for 04/28/2004. If NCsoft is now changing it then it is up to NCsoft to notify all the other websites including this one and they haven't. If the release information was not correct I don't know why NCsoft would be advertising the Pre-Sale of Lineage 2 on their official website that directs everyone to GameStop, EB Games, CompUSA, Best Buy, Fry's, Micro Center, Hastings and Future Shop. Unless they do not care that they are openly sending everyone to information that is not correct. I would hope that if the game is delayed they would announce it like most of us do. But then again... who knows, I only know one person that works with the Lineage 2 project (and he is kinda off his rocker) so they may not care or may be super behind in getting all their info out, I do not know.
