i live in the EU and have played on NA servers from day one, the ping is only around 150 so it wont affect you at all.

Plus there are more english speakers on the NA servers.

I'd hav to agree with you about the russian players, i hate to stereotype but ive bumped into some vile russian players in my time spent on the EU servers, they completely dominate any server they are on  by inflating the economy and bullying non russian players.

All NCSoft L2 servers are now physical location in NA.

The diference is based on server time. Ex: On NAIA castle siege is EU time and on Chronos and Shilen is NA time.

So, ping will be the same in any of these servers, i think.

 

If you want to participate on castle sieges but you cant at evening, but its possible for you later on night then NA is a better server for a EU player.

 

I, as a EU player, will stay with NCSoft for now in NAIA. Dont have any ping problem in NA servers. Later i might try Innova, who knows.

From official:

"All servers will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 5am PST / 7am CST / 8am EST / 12pm UTC/GMT. Estimated downtime is approximately 12 hours."
