A ghost of the path not trodden.

Currently on a Phoenix server, but can change, if asked (my character is still too low-level to care).

So... Yeah. I'll probably make a thread like this on official forums, as well.

I hate WoW because it made my plush hamster kill himself, created twin clones of Hitler, punched Superboy Prime in reality, stared my dog down, spoiled my grandmother, assimilated me into the Borg, then made me into a real boy, just to make me a woman again.

Well, if you're looking for RP, your best bet is, without a doubt, the Aria server. It's known as the "unnoficial RP server" for a reason :P.

As for clans, "Echoes of Darkness" is one of the most prominent RP clans on the server (or at least they were when I was playing last year). They've been around for years and years so I'm sure they're still kicking. They're an "evil" themed RP clan, but you won't find a nicer bunch of people. I spent most of my time playing as part of their clan and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Another notable RP clan is "Anarcy Reborn", but I believe they are allied with Echoes of Darkness now, so you can join either one of them and still be part of both :). Anarchy Reborn are more of a neutral-themed RP clan I believe, but then again, I'm not very familiar with them so I'm not the best judge.

There's one other RP clan that I'm aware of, known as the "Einhasad Templars", but I'm not sure of their situation at the momemt. They're a "Good" themed clan, and back when I played, I had the pleasure of getting to know quite a few of their members. They did, however, go through some very rough times last year though when they're leader of quite a few years decided to leave the game without very much notice at all. But, considering all of the amazing members the clan sports, I'm pretty confident they got everything back on track by now.

Anyway, those are the main RP clans that I'm aware of on Aria. I'm not really sure how much RP exists on Phoenix but I'm pretty sure that it's no where near as prevalent. On a final note, give this little site a visit - http://www.l2rpa.org/ - this is where the majority of the RP community hangs out and it'd definitely be your best bet for finding what you're looking for. Additionally, if you decide to give the Aria server a try, you should consider taking part or at least observing the player-run "Wishing Well" event. It's held on Tuesday evenings (I believe), and it will give you a great opportunity to meet some of the servers RP community.

Welcome to the game, and I hope some of this information was of some use to you :). Good luck!

A little too late, already joined EoD. But thanks anyway.
