Hey guys I have been a fan of original Lineage I and have played
Lineage 2 for a couple months before I quit.
I was a casual player (playing couple of hours) and just coudln't
progress with the game content.
Now with the upcoming patch, I was hoping to try out the game and see
how I'll cope with the changes.

So I began to do some searches about the game and classes.
I remember wanting to play either a gladiator or a tyrant as I love
damage dealing classes, especially melee.
I realized after searches, both here and on l2guru, that
the debate between the two classes have been going on for a WHILE.
I heard that tyrants are more versatile but gladiators seem to fair a bit better in PVP.
Also among the archers, hawkeye has captured my eyes after
reading that they can do fairly well in PVP and seem to PVE quite well.

Being a newcomer to the game with no buffers and spare adena,
which class would you suggest for me?
I know that tyrants and gladiators are both dual-wielding classes
and hawkeyes use bows so they use lots of soul shots but
would those costs be too much for me to handle?

Hope some of you guys can answer the questions!

I currently play a gladiator and do fairly well in PvP but I have not played a Tyrant so I am not going to give advice on which is better. I will tell you however incase you don't know, you can get free buffs from lvl 1 to lvl 62 from now on, just go to Newbie Guide as well as cheaper item costs for No-grade to B-grade items so you may have some a good amount of adena for soulshots (you can also get free 6k no-grade soulshots at the beginning but that isn't too big of a deal).
