News is nice ,but yea it is still looooong years ahead.

You could play ArcheAge in meantime when it get released though as it is made by one of LineAge lead designers.

I have no problem with waiting for the game. Its the same way for all mmos and its always been that way so I dont even see why the statement was made. How long have people been waiting for Guild Wars 2? How long did people wait for Star Wars? Still playing Lineage 2 while waiting for Lineage 3. MMO life is good for me.

I not really can believe to this news. We would hear about it from the NCsoft too, than. NCsoft make another Lineage too its name is Lineage Forever, but it isn't Lineage 3 also.  So It is far not sure, that will be Lineage 3.

Calling this "vague" would be praising it.

All we get is a name.

Considering the current state of L2 (only 8 classes etc), I wonder if L3 will be worth it.

L2 is and/or was a great game for many ppl, and for some theres nothing close around the mmo market. So when theres a  announcement around the name "Lineage 3" is allways a good "dream".

Now, if L3 will exist and it will be a great game no one knows but is normal to dream that will be even better then L2.

Its like the fans of WoW ear about a WoW II, EvE fans about EVE II and so on...

Long time i learn not to get hype about any game untill i try it,  not even with "BIG" names. But ofc theres some games that i keep a eye and those who have "Linage" name i try to follow (even theres nothing to follow atm).

For now im happy with L2, and love the total F2P part

Lineage 2 pretty much got killed with me in godess of destruction.and apparently from looking around,i may of not been alone.but i dont know,i never used the mentor system,so that could of been a large reason of why i quit playing

it seems like some stuff got changed in harmony update to.so maybe its worth givin free L2 another shot

Mentor system is a must have nowdays to get from 40 to 86.

- Good buffs that help alot and double xp.

But the relation between mentor and mentees are having dark days.

Mentees leave mentor and can get other mentor in same minute, mentor have to wait 1 week to get a new mentee. The best way is get in a nice clan academy at lvl 40 and get a clan mentor imo.

The team who did l2 are working on  Blade And Soul.

L3 is a myth..
