This looks great, i'm coming back to LOTRO because of the expansion after a long hiatus.

Can't wait, I tried the LOTRO demo and loved it, maybe this will be a good reason to actually jump into the game.

That music just plain sucked to be honest. Not the best from turbine's music production.

Leave it up to Turbine to ruin a dark and dangerous place and turn it into Candyland.

Looks cool to me. It's clear on this site who understands Middle-earth lore and who bases their lore solely on the movies. Khazad-Dûm was more than a long, dark cave full of orcs. It was an ancient civilization. From all the movies and screenshots I've seen it looks like Turbin have captured the look and feel of an ancient underground dwarvish civilization to me. But hey, what do I know since I've been a Tolkien fan for 30 years.

They've captured what Khazad-Dum might have looked like in the glory days of ages past. But what is described FotR is anything but bright and cheerful. I'm afraid the movies capture what is described in the book much better than this video clip.

The movie and the books only described a small portion of moria. The part that the fellowship traveled thru. The area this clip covers is not covered in the books and i have seen it in the beta and it is unbelieveable this video doesn't do it justice. That is compared to actually haveing a character in game runnint thru this area.

The problem with this game is, like all MMOs, the enviroments mean nothing. Its the same fight inside the Mines of Moria as it is inside a hobbit house in the Shire. MMOs suck because they're not inventing PHYSICAL WORLDS.

You can't invent a physical world because players will destroy it. Now stop trolling
