- The amazing thing about WoW is it took a lot of non-Warcraft fans and made them totally love the game. The angle this one is going "Come join LOTRO, you're already a LOTRO fan!" feels wrong. I like the scenery but haven't heard anything new about the gameplay.

- I tried this game and yeah maybe I am a bit jaded and prefer the older classes, but I really didnt like the class systems for this game kinda one dimensional for me so while I like the game itself I didnt like my choices for classes ... maybe I just didnt give a long enough trial period during beta. Like to see the future of this game though and see how things change around as it evolves.

- Anyone who says this game is like WoW is dead wrong. I have been playing LOTRO beta for quite a while now and I can assure you this game is it's own. Grant it they have borrowed some ideas but the gameplay and stories are very LOTR.

- Dude, its Lord of the Rings. Its not friggin Pen&Paper geeky license, its not 90s warcraft lore, its JRR Tolkien 100% license, darn, its the mother-ship of everything you've ever roleplayed in your life. And more so, they ARE being sensitive towards the lore, no friggin caster classes, no Orc-Play, no flying mounts, no dunedain or high-elves... This is the manifest dream of every roleplayer and every swords an sorcery fan alike... ... PFH, still looking for a reason to play this, you HAVE to be braindead ^^

- this game is NOTHING like world of warcraft,the fact that its not like world of warcraft is not a selling point or a deal breaker,world of warcraft is good and bad in its own rights, just as this game is and will be,i have yet to find a good reason to play the game, this game is more like dungeons and dragons online, but with more breathing room,i could travel around and i didnt run into any zone limitations..its dry,...more like dusty,..it trys really hard to be a good game, but its shadow of the story itself,i had the same problem with DDO,i have no idea what they can do to make this gamer worth playing,..i have a hard time getting past the limited character creation tools,the models are taken directly from DDO, i hope this game does better than i think it will,

- Tested in CB and its really much like WoW, but if u liked WoW and have already got bored with it, then i suggest u to try Lotro.
