Furthermore, MEO's music is quite authentic, the successful result of several years researching and analyzing all of the abundant musical references in Tolkien's literature. MEO's score includes epic pieces produced with live orchestra, choir, and ancient instruments, earthy tunes performed on acoustic folk instruments, and even songs based on Tolkien's lyrics in the text.
