Ive been looking around the internets lately for a fix to my problem. every time I launch LOTRO, it gets stuck at "Getting Data Centres". I am really starting to get pissed cause everytime i go on a forum thread in hope of a solution, all i find is that their problem stopped. Mine did too, but then after a few hours, it came back. So does anyone here know how to fix it. I cant change my firewall settings. BTW if this is in the wrong spot, please be nice. I've never used these forums before. |

I dont mean to be rude, and I'm not saying its not an issue, but judging by all the threads google pulled up of no one finding a permanent solution I'm going to assume there isnt one. And even if there was one but it didnt show up in google at all, its unlikely we would know it (because if there is one, google would have it). I read that people have the same problem for DDO as well, so best thing is to just wait until a patch comes around that might fix it. Sorry, mate. |

Regarding the previous posters, you want to UNINSTALL pando. You can easily uninstall it from Control Panel > Uninstall a Program (On some OS that might be Add / Remove Programs). If its not in that list, then its not installed, and its not your problem. |

Originally posted by marinrider But i know people with the same type of computer as me that aren't having this problem. Even if there isn't a fix, I still want to know WTF is going on. |

pando is the peice of junk turbine uses to update the game. it can be found in the add/remove programs windows. Also if you hit ctrl +alt+del and check "processes" you will see that it is running in the background at times when turbine has a major update or patch. It is an annoying application and should never be included in the installer. |
