is codemasters the only company that supports lord of the rings online for europe?

i wanted to try the game but im never going to touch any game of codemasters cus they fail at evrithing.

since i want to play the game. the reason i wont go with codemasters is cus the change of your acount getting hacker is 20 percent the change of getting scammed by codemasters is 99,99 percent  the change that the servers from codemasters are lagging is 100% and the change of getting patches/expansions 1 year later than any other version is 100 percent

Let me guess, you were an Archlord player? LOTRO is run completely differently than either RFOnline or Archlord were, always has been. It has Turbine behind it whereas the other games had sub par asian developers, customer service on LOTRO is also miles beyond what they provided for either of those two other games.

To OP: yes codemasters manage the game in europe - unfortunately, this means that all the nice additions like my.lotro.com and the iphone app aren't available for european customers, since CM won't allow us this.

I know nothing of codemasters, Ill be up front about that.  I do believe LOTRO to be one of the best games I have had the pleasure of playing.  Having said that, I believe it's because of the developers behind the game and Turbine is solid.  I guess what I am saying is trust in Turbine and let it go at that.

is their a trial in europe?

if not what is the going rate for the basic game? (here I can find it for ten dollars, which is like getting the game free plus 5 dollars off the first month).  The point being of course, if it costs next to nothing why not give it a shot?

There are actually quite a few EU players playing on the NA Turbine servers.  You can definitely do that if you want to avoid Codemasters.  I'm not sure which Turbine server has the most EU players on it, but Elendilmir is the un-official Oceanic server and so has quite a few players on at all hours if you want to make sure people are playing during your game-time.

Your account wont get hacked, unless youre stupid and enter you account name & password to sites, that has nothing to do with CodeMasters. The chance to be scammed by CM (e.g. the server changing) is 0% - at least for me. The servers are not lagging, Ive played on Snowbourne and Laurelin, both pretty much filled with players - zero lag. The patches and expansions, hmm, 1 year later? No? They all come to Europe almost instantly just like in NA, and the patches & updates are coming in a good speed.

So, where your facts are based?
 

you can buy the game from turbine, and play it on usa servers. you get get those nice amenities, like iphone apps and mylotro, but get alse some nice timezone bonuses.

I happened to know that CMR (Coling Mcrae Rally) is the best rally game and one of the best racing games out there. Now, lets keep personal dislikes seperate from facts mkay?
