Last night I made level 60 with my Guardian. I mostly played this game solo. I have not enjoyed an MMORPG like this for while. I also bypassed crafting as I leveled to leave it as my end game content. As a reward for myself I purchased a player house outside of Thorin’s Gate in the local neighborhood and it is fully decorated. Hail!

Lotro has unfortunately 1 serious issue. Now that you have gotten your lvl 60, whats next ? End game content is pretty miserable. With a decent lvl 60 content, Lotro would be a great game. |

End game content is the same for most MMORPG's that I know of. However the aspects of the game I have left for lvl 60 are the same for most MMORPG's such as PvP, Crafting, Reputation points for gear, and instances. Lothlorien and the "Mines of Moria" have areas for level 60. Mirkwood will be released this summer for level 60. And for a game 2 years old their first expansion "Mines of Moria" is pretty good. I believe an expansion is coming this fall with a level increase.

This makes 11 instances (all between 30 mins to 3-4 hours) First six instances drop tier 1 radiance gear + watcher. Turtle gives varius rare second or first age items, new 12 man raid +3 new 3 man dungeons give tier 2 radiance gear. REALITY CHECK |

There is also plenty of solo-instances for lvl 60 characters. The "end-game" in LotrO is now pretty good actually and there is alot of stuff to do. Since release LotrO have always lacked content but with book 8 there is more than enough things to keep you occupied. And grats to 60 :) If WoW = The Beatles |

Gratz! I recommend looking around now for a nice friendly guild if you aren't in one so you can go on raids and stuff. It's also fun helping others now you're at the top! LOTRO is the only game I've ever kept playing beyond the level cap. |

Grats! I have to say I'm really impressed with the direction this game has gone and the amount of content they've added since launch. Turbine has really done well with this game and I'm having a blast and so glad I decided to give this game another go after leaving not long after launch. Hope you continue to enjoy your time running around Middle Earth as I am. 1.For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical. 2.To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself. |
