You are right, my wording was confusing. Assumoption is wrong AGAIN. The Moors has a very dynamic in that if your side captures the keeps they get new quests to do. There are rewards for killing mobs, rewards for killing Creeps/Freeps , new titles and traits to unlock as well as getting complete Armor sets for your Freep that can only be obbtained by completing Rank 3 and getting items from the Delving. That zone is always in a dynamic state with Freeps and Creeps changing the the zones dynamic with every Keep they claim. Moors is not just a place to play against players, there is a ton of content to be achieved inside of it. /go fish |

I'm taking a break from AoC as well and returning to LotRO. I always liked this game the only problem was the last time I was here it was really weak on the endgame scene. I see they've added a couple of books as well as player housing. I look forward to seeing the changes. |

To the OP... Welcome. As I suggest to all new comers, check out Brandywine!

Welcome to Middle Earth :) That's kinda what I did, I left Lotro (Stupid mistake) to try out AoC played for one month decided it was not enough to keep me playing and now I'm back in Lotro :)

Same here, decided to try AoC, found out the world of Hyboria (according to Funcom) is anything but seamless, unlike well, LotRO where you can ride on your horse anywhere in the outside world, from Angmar to Misty Mountains/Forochel, into a large population centre like Bree etc etc and have all the zones seamlessly blending into each other without a single loading screen (apart from the Ered Luin "gate" of course). I guess I was a fool to expect the same thing from AoC, but then again why wouldn't I, after all Hyboria just like Middle-Earth is the kind of wide-open spaces world where one would expect to be able to ride a horse from the mist...er, I mean snowy mountains of Cimmeria to the vast Steppes of Hyrkania, etc, sadly that is not the case with loading screens a-plenty if you want to travel anywhere. So, back to LotrO :) |

I'm also back to LOTRO from AOC. Although I liked AOC (graphics, melee combat system and some of the classes), I stoped playing because of constant bugs, feats and many things not working, constant game crashes. I just coudn't p(l)ay anymore. Last weekend I was playing LOTRO again. Found my old friends in new guild, downed Thorog for first time (atleast for me), was doing inn quests, was delivering beer and vine all around Eriador. All these small and big things make LOTRO so special. During this weekend I realised how I missed seamless world and stability of client., my sweet home in Shire and Summer Festival hehe. I may give a try to AOC in couple of months, but i doubt. Still have to do things I haven't finished in LOTRO while playing AOC. And also MOM will come out. BTW is it enough to delete payment agreement to stop paying for AOC or must I cancel sub? Wanna keep my alts if I'll try AOC someday.
