  • Gets Ready For the Fleece From the East

    In preparation for the upcoming Year of the Ram, FFXIV is holding another Heavensturn event Wednesday, December 31 to January 14. During this "changing of the heavenly guard," players will be able to take on the "Lions for Lambs" quest, thus winning their own sheep-ish headgear and pet, among other things.

  • New Race Announced for Heavensward Expansion

    During a weekend fan event, Final Fantasy XIV's producer Naoki Yoshida announced that a new race will be included in the forthcoming Heavensward expansion. Called the Au Ra, little else was revealed other than a screenshot. Also in Heavensward, players will be able to check out a pair of new Astrologian and the Machinist.
