I like the idea. Trouble is to the entitlement generation what is a ban other than a $15 charge on mommy's credit card? To a lot of the current MMO world there is no real hindrance to losing your account. So what you make a new one or you move onto the next game without a thought. It is just a world with no consequences for them.

But overall I do agree with you. If you can combat the buyers of currency then there is no market and the source will dry up. I just wish it was the end all solution.
