Q: What is the release date, and how much will it cost?

A: Torchlight became available for digital download on October 27th, 2009 on PC for a price of $20 (US). You can get Torchlight from our site (www.torchlightgame.com), as well as various other digital distributors.

 

Also there are no free download of game client.  Please update this game record in game list.

Maybe they're talking about the multiplayer version.

They are talking about Torchlight 2/Torchlight Online or whatever the hell the name of multiplayer version is.

P.S. If you look at screen shots, the ui is different from original Torchlight

Not the ones on MMORPG.com. The Screenshots here are directly from the single player Torchlight 1.

Torchlight is supposed to be making an MMO, however the one listed here is not even multiplayer. It is 100% absolutely single player.

A simple error, I don't know why Torchlight is even on MMORPG.com it is not a MMO. There are in the works of some kind of MMO / Multiplayer Torchlight tho.

No, this is not the Torchlight MMO. The Torchlight MMO will still be released some time after Torchlight II.

  • Torchlight 2 will be at E3 this year
  • We MIGHT see something about the Torchlight MMO at PAX this year, but don't expect a demo or anything so soon after TL2's release
  • Of course, all dates are tentative estimates and shouldn't be taken as unchangeable
