Starfall Prophecy is the 3rd major expansion to Trion Worlds' Rift. We've been playing it since it launched on Wednesday the 16th, and Managing Editor Bill Murphy streamed it for about 2 hours this week. This is that VOD!
Rift is set to get a brand new full expansion. Called The Starfall Prophecy, the expansion comes with a level cap increase to 70, five new zones, new dungeons, a new raid (post launch), new Legendary abilities that fundamentally alter how souls play, the Planar Fragment system, Planar Assault instances, Fortress Sieges, and loads more.

We sat down with Rift's Simon Ffinch last week to get an early look at patch 3.4, Planetouched Wilds, before it goes live in early October. The demo picks up just a few minutes after our tour began.

Trion Worlds has released a short Rift trailer showing off one of the new features coming into game, Action On Demand. A simple click of a button and players are whisked off to instant action and are able to drop in or drop out at will. The rewards, say the devs, are well worth the effort. Check it out!
