E3 2010: "Defiant" Faction Trailer

Trion Worlds released the E3 2010 trailer for their dimensional-rift plagued MMO Rift: Planes of Telara today. This latest trailer focuses on one of the game's two factions, the Defiant. And as their name would imply, they act in defiance of the gods, seeking to solve the Rift-born disasters of Telara by themselves, unlike the Guardian faction, who seek salvation from the gods by way of a miracle.

Palladium Books Sues Trion Worlds

Massively is reporting that Palladium Books is suing Trion Worlds over the use of the "Rift" title in their upcoming fantasy MMORPG Rift: Planes of Telara, the lawsuit cites trademark infringement due to the game's similar title and concepts also found in Palladium's popular and venerable "Rifts" pen-and-paper RPG.
