  • Nightmare Tide - Overall an Amazing Expansion

Despite the one minor hiccup I experienced getting from level 64 to 65, I was thoroughly enjoying myself. Then I began what I call the "endgame experience." RIFT has always had a lot to do at max level. The artifacts have always been a favorite of mine, as they give me a reason to go out and explore this huge world. There's probably thousands of artifacts out there for you to find. It's almost a bit daunting actually. Thank the lord for minions, who have made this a bit simpler.

  • Nightmare Tide - Bro, Do You Even Rift?

Just before writing this article, I finally hit level 65 in RIFT: Nightmare Tide, and I couldn't be happier to get that whole leveling thing out of the way. From level 60 to 64, my leveling experience with Nightmare Tide had been extremely positive. Things were moving quickly, but not so quickly as to undermine the achievement of gaining a level. Quests were fun and engaging, so much so that I think a lot of them are going to stick with me for quite some time.

Or is it a whirlpool that will suck players in with its powerful current? Let's dive in and find out!

  • Is the Patron Status Worth It?

It's no secret that RIFT has a generous business model. The slogan "No Tricks, No Trials, No Traps" has proven true and made the game a beacon for free-to-play design. There is a store, and Trion would sure like it if you used it, but if you don't, there is still a whole game to explore, all the way through endgame. That raises the question: why exactly would you subscribe and is it even worth it when so much is available for free? That's the question we're out to answer today.
