Trion Partners with Shanda Games for China Release
Trion Worlds has announced that it has inked a partnership deal with Shanda Games to publish Rift. No release date was revealed but the announcement takes Rift one step closer to a blockbuster release in mainland China sometime in 2012.

Lite Version Launches
Trion Worlds has announced a new program called Rift Lite. In the Lite version of the game, players can experience the game urestricted up to level 20. This new program also allows players with a Trion account to take advantage of today's deployment of the v1.7 Carnival of the Ascended patch.

Mobile App Now Live for Droid
Trion Worlds has announced that the Rift Mobile App available in the Android Marketplace. The mobile app is free to all and gives users the ability to stay connected to the game even when not logged in. Zone events, guild features and mini-games are all part of the app.

Get Hitched on Valentine's Day & Set a Record
The v1.7 version of Rift will bring many new features into the game including the marriage system. To celebrate, Trion will be attempting to set a world record on Valentine's Day for the most virtual in-game weddings in a 24-hour period.

Now Live on Origin
Trion Worlds has announced that Rift is now available on Origin. Players can purchase both the standard and Ashes of History versions of Rift that will include some in-game perks.

$100 Million in Revenue in 2011
According to an interview with Reuters, Trion Worlds' Lars Buttler has confirmed that Rift has generated $100 million in its first ten months. In addition, Trion Worlds has acquired $85 million in new funding revenue that will likely be used for future property acquisition or licensing.

Server Changes Confirmed & Clarified

Server Merges Incoming
According to RiftJunkies.com, players logging into Rift are being presented with a Message of the Day indicating that servers are being merged or turned into trial servers. Players are then given a suggested server to move to but can move to any currently active server.
