Great, GREAT, interview up on Ten Ton Hammer!  You can find it right here!

For those of you unable to watch, a brief run down:

  • Beastmaster melee class.
  • Port Scion probable Open PvP zone
  • Saboteur class
  • and more!
I have some more information about the interview and my thoughts on it, on my Rift blog HorRIFTic Intentions.

This game is sounding better and better.  Simply can not wait!

nice:) Beastmaster will indeed be a Warrior Soul and Saboteur a Rogue.

My brain has 2 sides;Left and right. My left side has nothing right and my right side has nothing left...

I cannot fiddle but I can make a great state of a small city.

I'm so not used to how open he is and the fact that he actually answers questions. I'm used to the cryptic bullshit SE has lead me around with for 6 years. This is nice.

I'm REALLY excited about this interview and how it hinted Port Scion is a World RVR zone :D

I was/am really hoping for something like this in Rift but after hearing that they had Battlegrounds had kind of given up on the idea.

There's also capture the flag style warfronts, but yeah i'd love a big zone to just go PVP in.

MMO sandbox games are as exciting as watching paint dry.

Scott put a lot of work into EQ2, after he took over. It showed from the mess they had originally. EQ2 kicked out a ton of quality content during his tenure.  My wife has luved that game for yrs now.

Although TOR will be the last MMO I ever intend to play(went back to consoles in 06), this would be the game I would play ,due to his involvement, if I was looking for another.

I feel Hartsman is a credit to the genre. Hope Rift is a success for him.

Asking Devs to make AAA sandbox titles is like trying to get fine dining on a McDonalds dollar menu budget.
