Its funny, but why advertise for another game on your website?  Putting your competition's expansion into the minds of your players doesn't seem worth the joke to me.  

It prolly has more to deal with how that baby panda died at that zoo then MoP.

Awful screenshot. It has something highlighted on the left bottom part of the screen. You can barely make anything of it due to the quality.

Why try and make more out of it than it truly might be?

 

Trion's marketing department cracks me up. Take a look at there fine print they have:

Know why we have to do that? Maine. Weird, right? We don't know what they have against Pandas, or why $10,000 is a magical number, either. Good for Trion, I always thought Pepsi had a better sense of humor as well.

I have 5 50s in rift, 3 of them in HK 1 in half ID gear.  I really wanna love the game, but It just gets old.  I REALLY wanna buy the expansion, but I'm just not convinced paying for a year is worth it when I know ill wanna take a break 3-4 months from now my first break lasted almost a year and I havent played in over a month despite my sub not expiring until december.

The game is awesome you just run out of shit to do when its really only 4 classes souls are souls but its still the same class that and 1 starting area for each faciton.

The whole premise of MoP is ridiculas and deserves to be made fun of. Too bad Rift is just a bad copy of WoW and really has no room to talk. Funny either way though.

I guess you have no idea how small the MMO community really is.  Trion doesnt want to accidently remind someone about wow's expansion and lose a sale?  Are you serious?  There are just so many ways to make fun of you on this but I need to pull back or risk yet another warning.

While "You're not in Azeroth anymore" made me groan, this is actually pretty amusing.  Bravo.

Hehe, yeah, when I saw it, on this site as well, I had to laugh. Nice touch in their advertisement, hilarious and ingenious ^^

They have a great PR/communications team, no doubt about it.

Probably buying te STORM Legion expansion....i´ll play it untill the "Raid or leave" part.

They deserve support with the amazing work they have been doing in Rift!

Hopefully Trion will keep on opening the End-Game content for those (like myself) that are simply burned out of their lives with traditional raiding.

I know they have already implemented the soloing mini dungeons...but what they really need is to explore the dinamic nature of their game,and exploit that even further!

 

 

 

Yeah I definately give their PR dept a thumbs up. I quit playing Rifts a while back. The raiding gets old with not much else to do. Maybe after I hear from some ppl playing the xpac I may consider another try. Was a really good game though.
