Disney's Toontown Online Overview and Recent Content

One of the first MMOs designed specificially for the child audience, Disney's Toontown is, as one would expect, designed to look like a classic Disney cartoon world. There are a few Disney characters involved in the story or in certain areas, but the action is mainly left to the players.

Robots called Cogs have begun running rampant all over the town, and it's the players' job to deffeat them using cartoony gags like pie throwing or dropping anvils. These are the game's skills, and points are earned to unlock better gags.

There are missions and tasks to complete as well, and various minigames. As the game is designed to be highly family friendly, there is no PvP, and all chat is filtered to some degree.There are parental controls by which parents can restrict their children's access to certain aspects of the game.
