This game looks good no doubt about it. Cant wait to get a european beta key. If it was developed by Asians i wouldnt even bother checking it out. But the Russians...i do trust them. They do posess the brains thats for sure. I wish this game every success and i hope more and more information  is revealed about it in the following days. Let's hope it grows to live up to the players expectations.

Yea, they're Asian by continent but they're closer to European in culture (the areas closer to Europe anyways).

I agree that Allods looks good anyways though. Signed up for beta!

In a way, kinda, i am not 100% sure of their homeland but i think they are nomads

anyway I do argee that most games deve by China and Korea gets boring after like a month....

Even Euroasian continent, I think it's called that anyway.

Geographically, the West of Russia is in Europe but the East is in Asia. Ural mountains separate them.

However, Russia is classified as a European nation because:

* It was established in Europe (before it expanded into Asia)
* Its culture is Eastern European
* Its history is closer to Europe's than Asia's (for example, it has had more interactions with other European countries, rather than Asian countries)
* Russian people are Caucasian, generally speaking, and NOT "Asiatic", in racial background.

Russia covers a huge land mass and in turn a multitude of ethnic types. The area which contains the two major cities and the bulk of the population is officially in Europe.

Russian population is -

46% Balto-Slavic
23% Uralo-Finnic
10.5% Dinaric
6% Germanic
5% Nordic
3% Mesopotamian
6.5% Others

The majority of Russia's population lives in the European part. Russians are basically Slavs as you see.

But do you really believe this is worth the debate m8? This thread is about a game. And as i said before it was not even a matter of location :)

I wasn't directly replying to you, sorry, but the one above you. State all the graphical history you want, it'd be like saying Australia is  english cultured,  relocated. Also, hate to dispute your % of ethnic groups that make up, but now it's :

Russian 79.8%, Tatar 3.8%, Ukrainian 2%, Bashkir 1.2%, Chuvash 1.1%, other or unspecified 12.1% (2002 census) Not their ancestry.

The game however looks promising if they can pull what they are showing. I, for one, will watch this one.

m8 i won't disagree with you :) To tell you the truth i don't even care. It was not a matter of location as i stated twice earlier :) I wasn't referring to Asia as a continent. Anyways, my bad, perhaps i wasn't specific enough in my initial post. i meant Asian mmo's which mainly derive from Korea or China or whatever.

All i do care about though, is to get an eu beta key! (anyone got a spare one?:P)
