Kiskara writes: @aleos The promo pic that MMORPG.com uses when there's a front page story on TSW is the girl facing off with the...thing. So once you see her face, you're pretty much sure that something is going to happen, as well as the fact that the camera stuck really close to her. It's a classic movie trick that gives you a heads up that something is there and supposed to surprise/scare you. But instead she through fireballs at it and sliced it with a flaming sword. The monster could have easily just chewed her face off too. Very pretty and tasteful character...

Awesome power of light, glowing tatoos, pure white, angelic.

Gory and threatening monster design.

 

But when you see the gameplay video what do you see? Thats right, none of that. Hideous (not in the good way) monster design, almost childish, retarded looking player character. Tasteless and unimaginative powers. Zero ambiance...

This is more similar to champion online then silent hill/dead space/or any other decent horror game.
