Very distinctive, thinking outside of the box genre and design. The "no levels" concept is excellent. Looks like a very polished and accomplished game. Graphics, atmosphere and ambience are very cool.

I just can't drive myself to care about this one. I think Funcom needs to prove something to me before the game can draw my interest.

If you're looking for a fresh MMO with no elves, no cat people, no levels, no classes, insane puzzle quests, set in a haunting real world environment hell-bent on keeping you up all night, then enter The Secret World. Just be sure to keep a light on, cheers!

It seems they spent more time sitting around smoking dope and talking about the game, then actually working on it. Sad, so sad. And talk about lies! There is no "Secret Build", there is no miracle patch forthcoming. You can believe the bs, or you can believe me. I don't care bc you're not spending my money on this steaming pos excuse of a game.

No good animations, not exciting combat but respect for trying something so out of the ordinary and putting atmosphere and story at top in a MMORPG; the game deserves a 9 for their courage and inspiration.

TSW is astonishing, a breath-taking livable world. It will significantly impact the gamer sphere specifically veteran MMO enthusiasts. Wow killer? Likely not. But it will definitely jolt.

I did not get a beta invite. I have had several yearly subscribtion in Funcoms two other mmo's AoC and Anarchy Online. A friend of mine was invited to the beta, and he tried Aoc for one month. Talk about rewarding their customers... Anyways, as I said my mate got access and he lend me the login for a couple of days. I must admit my expectations were sky high, but they were soon crushed to the ground. Poor character movement, uninteresting world and very unpolished game. I doubt they can transform this one into a success at launch..
