Is combat style in TSW looks more like in WoW and SWTOR or like in AoC or any other game...? Is it skill-based or gear-based...

Combat is generic hotkey MMO style with some minor AoE damage inspired by AoC.

Like AoC, not as much as WoW.

Its a hybrid system, its less reliant on tab targeting.

Hotkey-based though.

It is like DC universe online.

And yes it is gear based.

Oh yea, I forgot that you don't need to have a target for a lot of skills.  That actually does make the combat feel a tiny bit less generic.  Those skills use a cone or PBAoE damage arch.  Unlike AoC the AoE damage is built into the skills as there are no AoC-style combos.

I'm sorry, but I don't think DCUO's combat is anything like TSW.

Its nothing like DCUO. Its a hybrid system just like AOC uses.

It has elements from GW - limited skill selection, tab targeting
Elements from Aoc - cone attacks, auto target nearest in front if not tab targeting, manually dodging
Elements from war - firing on the move even attacks with cast time (header, shadowbane warr) only its ALL abilities & dual targeting
Elements from coh - states system although tsw pushes this much further

Sorry but you are wrong. It is a lot like DCU combat and bears little resemblance to AOC.

Don't really know what you mean by that.

The skills have synergies with eachother. I.e. a rifle might apply a bleeding effect which will trigger another rifle skill, then you switch to blood-magic to synergize with the bleeding-effect and apply a snare that relies on bleeds, etc.
